CREATING CONFIDENCE
RESPIRATORY VIRUS STANDARD DILUTION PANELS
An inactivated SARS-CoV-2 reference panel has been used for comparing the analytical sensitivity of different molecular assays and is available for validation of NAT methods. The same SARS-CoV-2 reference standard has been used to compare the analytical sensitivity of different rapid antigen tests [MedRxiv 2021.11.26.21265946; doi: https://doi.org/10.1101/2021.11.26.21265946]. In addition a validation panel of 500 and 2000 copies/mL has been developed for laboratories that want to monitor the performance of more rapid SARS-CoV-2 NAT methods.
